Deutsche Bahn Smartgrid

At the Berlin Südkreuz station, we developed an interactive smart grid information system together with the Reiner Lemoine Institut and Deutsche Bahn. A mobile application and an installed screen in the station building make the local energy cycle tangible – based on real-time data and simulated parameters such as weather, time of day, or energy demand.

In addition, a gesture-controlled game conveys the idea of sustainable mobility in a playful way. Here, travelers virtually direct renewable energy to vehicles – and improve their digital CO₂ footprint in the process.
