on.tour - The JMB goes to school

How does family shape a person? Who believes – and in what? What does belonging mean? What is home?

With the mobile exhibition on.tour, the Jewish Museum Berlin visited schools throughout Germany all year round. The active participation of the students promoted dialogue about Jewish history, culture, and religion – and strengthened understanding and tolerance.

For this, we developed flexible modules that could be adapted to different spaces. The exhibition was supplemented by six interactive diaries of Jewish youths in the form of an iPad app.
