Historical Museum Frankfurt
We work for the Historisches Museum Frankfurt where history needs to be translated into the present. Our aim is to design historical and multi-layered content in such a way that it remains understandable and accessible – without smoothing over its depth. The project shows how we were able to use design as a connecting element between the archive, exhibition, and the online world.

Frankfurt History App
The Frankfurt History App guides users through the history of Frankfurt using walking tours with audio guides, connecting historical content with specific locations in the urban space. For the Historisches Museum Frankfurt, we designed a new app CI and developed a new in-app design.
Cross-Media Campaigns
To promote the Frankfurt History App, communication campaigns with a social media focus were launched. We provided comprehensive support: from strategy and conception, through design & copy, to media planning, monitoring, and the implementation of content creator collaborations.
For the launch of the app's various thematic layers, we went live with several campaign flights – featuring adapted content and design tailored to the target groups. The themes were New Frankfurt, FSV Frankfurt, and Feminist Frankfurt.
The flights were primarily rolled out digitally – paid and organically – but also at target-group-oriented out-of-home touchpoints. Print advertising media were created to accompany them.
The thematic focus The City as Witness received an additional flight, which was displayed at relevant hubs in the city and digitally. For the launch event, the campaign was expanded to include several print media.
Memorial Platform – Frankfurt and National Socialism
This website serves as a digital bulletin board, comprehensively conveying the history of Frankfurt during the era of National Socialism and making historical content accessible to a broad audience. For this project, we developed the visual concept and accompanying advertising measures to present complex content in a clear, inviting, and understandable way.
